Apparently, Disillusioned Adventurers Will Save the World Anime Reveals Trailer, January 2023 Premiere

The previously announced anime adaptation of Apparently, Disillusioned Adventurers Will Save the World light novel series revealed a trailer and a teaser visual, along with a January 2023 premiere date. The adaptation is a TV anime and will be animated by studio GEEKTOYS.

The trailer features the main cast for the Apparently, Disillusioned Adventurers Will Save the World anime which includes:

  • Yusuke Kobayashi as Nick
  • Sayaka Kikuchi as Curran
  • Sayumi Watabe as Tiana
  • Shun’ichi Toki as Zem
  • Kaori Ishihara as Agate
  • Mikako Komatsu as Kizun

Itsuki Imazaki (Hensuki) is directing the anime, with Hiro Nagao on character designs. Nagao is also credited as a chief animation director, while Imazaki will be overseeing the series composition in addition to directing. Ryo Takahashi is composing the music. The trailer features the opening theme song by Shun’ichi Toki, titled “Glorius World”:

Apparently, Disillusioned Adventurers Will Save the World (Ningen Fushin no Boukensha-tachi ga Sekai wo Sukuu You desu) is a light novel written by Shinta Fuji and illustrated by Susumu Kuroi. The series started serialization in 2019 in MF Books, and it also has a manga adaptation by Masaki Kawakami.

Yen Press recently licensed it in English (the first volume is scheduled for this November) and describes the plot as:
Nick used to be a member of a veteran adventurer party, helping his undisciplined friends with the accounts whenever he could. But what was his reward? Getting accused of embezzlement and kicked out by the leader he respected. Before long, he finds a few other jaded adventurers and kindred spirits, and together, they form their own unstoppable party!
