Ningen Fushin: Adventurers Who Don’t Believe in Humanity Will Save the World anime released preview images and trailer for episode 2 along with a synopsis. The next episode is scheduled to be broadcast on January 17, 2023. Studio GEEKTOYS is animating the adaptation, which has been airing on January 10, 2023.
The second episode is titled “The Ultimate Party Is Formed? Survivors!” The four who have lost faith in humanity teamed up to keep their hobbies and daily lives going, and named their instant party “Survivors”. The team goes for a search in a dungeon without enough trust in each other, and demons come to attack them nevertheless…
Shinta Fuji has been writing the story of Ningen Fushin novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro since January 2019. KADOKAWA’s label MF Books picked up the series and has been publishing it with art by Susumu Kuroi. The latest, third volume was released in August 2021. A manga adaptation by Masaki Kawakami is currently ongoing on the ComicWalker manga service and released the fifth volume in April 2022.
Yen Press licensed both for English releases under the title Apparently, Disillusioned Adventurers Will Save the World and describes the plot of light novel volume 1 as:
Nick used to be a member of a veteran adventurer party, helping his undisciplined friends with the accounts whenever he could. But what was his reward? Getting accused of embezzlement and kicked out by the leader he respected. Before long, he finds a few other jaded adventurers and kindred spirits, and together, they form their own unstoppable party!
