The previously announced Are You a Landmine, Chihara-san? anime revealed three additional cast members and a January 2027 premiere date. Additionally, the series also announced a music project starring the main character Mai Chihara. An artist visual and teaser trailer for the first digital single “Alien Alien” were also unveiled. The song is set to release on July 25, 2026.
The voice cast consists of:
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Mai Chihara
- Kazuki Ura as Kuroki
- Maaya Uchida as Chinatsu Iwakura
- Tomokazu Sugita as Hibiya
- Daisuke Ono as Kazami
The character designs of the new characters:
Studio SynergySP is animating the series with Yasuaki Fujii as director. The series composition is done by Keiichiro Ochi, while Majiro is on character designs Alisa Okehazama is composing the music.
Ryon launched the manga on Comic Smart’s Ganma! website in June 2021 and currently has 8 volumes in circulation. Seven Seas will release the mang in English on September 29, 2026. They describe it as follows:
