Arifureta: From World’s Commonplace to Strongest Season 3 anime has released the first trailer and the Fall 2024 premiere date. Studio Asread is animating the sequel.
The trailer features the rabbit people, and Shea’s family. Season 3 was announced on September 10, 2022, during the advance screening of the second season’s OVA. The franchise also released a visual along with the premiere announcement on March 23, 2024.
Akira Iwanaga is directing the series at studio Asread. The same staff worked on the second season in 2022. Kinji Yoshimoto directed the first season at studios Asread and White Fox, in 2019.
The anime is based on Ryo Shirakome’s Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest (Arifureta Shokugyo de Sekai Saikyo) light novel series. Overlap serialized the series with Takayaki’s illustrations from 2015 to 2022, and it had a total of 13 volumes in circulation. J-Novel Club licensed the series in English, and Seven Seas Entertainment is the one printing it. Arifureta Season 3 will adapt the 7th volume of the light novel, and the plot is described as:
With the battle at the capital settled, Hajime’s next destination is the Empire. Together with Liliana and Kouki, he takes to the skies with his newly built airship—only to discover that the Haulia have been fighting against both the empire and the demons, and that Verbergen has been sacked. Suddenly, Hajime has a new reason to head to Hoelscher’s capital!
