The previously teased Attack on Titan FLY (Shingeki No Kyojin FLY) project is a 200+ page art book that will feature 18 pages of new manga content, compiled into a new, 35th volume, as well as newly drawn art for the final chapter. Hajime Isayama’s illustrations will be available in full color. The first and last art book of the Attack on Titan series is scheduled for April 30, 2024 release and is made to order.
Pre-orders are open until November 20th. The book, which is in B4 format, will cost 22,000 JPY (around 147 USD). It will be bundled with Mikasa’s scarf and Eren’s key. The items, new manga content, and newly drawn art are all considered a bonus.
Attack on Titan is a manga series by Hajime Isayama, serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from 2009 to 2021. The manga ended in April of 2021 after 139 chapters, which were compiled into 34 volumes. The final, 34th volume came out in June 2021. Isayama visited Anime NYC for the first time last year: during the event, he spoke about the ending of his hit series and explained that he was concerned about the reception, as he was always very critical of himself. Isayama commented on the artbook:
The anime adaptation of the series premiered in 2012 and quickly became a worldwide known title. The adaptation was animated by WIT Studio and later MAPPA. The final part of the anime will premiere on November 4. Check out the recently revealed trailer:
Attack on Titan FLY was first teased by the Attack on Titan editor, Shintaro Kawakubo. The editor tweeted, saying a big announcement was coming on October 4 and pointed fans toward a newly-opened account for the project.
