Attack on Titan OADs Get Special Trailer Ahead of Blu-ray Release

Attack on Titan OAD Archive revealed a special “digest” trailer dedicated to all 8 episodes ahead of the April 27 Blu-ray release in Japan. The OAD (original disc animation) episodes were bundled with the limited edition of certain manga volumes and this will be the first time they are available on Blu-ray. The short trailer features scenes from each one, starting with Levi’s No Regrets and ending with Lost Girls:

The Attack on Titan OAD Archive digest trailer also features some iconic OST tracks by Hiroyuki Sawano, such as “Call your name” but also the 2nd ending theme of the anime “great escape” by Cinema Staff. WIT Studio animated all of them and Kyoji Asano, who worked on the anime, recently unveiled a special illustration that will serve as a cover jacket for the set:

The OAD episodes recently aired on Japanese TV for the first time and are now also available to stream on Funimation and Crunchyroll with English subtitles. The episodes include (in chronological order, except the last one, which offers an alternate universe view):

  • 0.5 A: No Regrets: Part 1
  • 0.5 B: No Regrets: Part 2
  • 3.25: The Sudden Visitor: The Torturous Curse of Youth
  • 3.5: Ilse’s Notebook: Memoirs of a Scout Regiment Member
  • 3.75: Distress
  • 16.5 A: Lost Girls: Wall Sina, Goodbye: Part 1
  • 16.5 B: Lost Girls: Wall Sina, Goodbye: Part 2
  • Lost Girls: Lost in the Cruel World: Part 3
