Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK movie has extended its screening period in Japan as a celebration of its success so far. The anime movie was originally planned to only run for 3 weeks from November 8. Studio MAPPA animated it, with Yuichiro Hayashi as the director.

The movie is a compilation of the Final Chapters specials, with improved cuts and 5.1ch surround sound. It also introduced an all-new post-credit scene, which adapted Attack on School Castes.

Studio MAPPA also handled the animation for Attack on Titan from Season 4 onward, taking over WIT Studio that was in charge of the first three seasons. The anime adapted the manga by Hajime Isayama, which ran in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from September 2009 until April 2021. Kodansha USA licensed the manga for an English release.

Attack on Titan also recently announced an orchestra concert world tour, which will be held in over 20 cities worldwide starting in April 2025. Its title is Attack on Titan – Beyond the Walls World Tour – The Official Concert.
