Baki Hanma Season 2 anime has received a new key visual for its The Father VS Son Saga, which is now streaming on Netflix. Part 1 titled The Tale of Pickle & The Pickle War Saga was released on July 26, while part 2 will has an August 24 release date. Check out the new key visual featuring Baki and Yujiro Hanma:

The 2nd part’s opening song is “Sarracenia” by SKY-HI and new ending song is “Salvia” by BE:FIRST. The most recently added cast members are Megumi Hayashibara, Hidekatsu Shibata and Fumihiko Tachiki. Previously, Takeshi Kusao joined as Pickle, while Nobuo Tobita joined as Albert Payne. The first part is already streaming on Netflix.
Keisuke Itagaki wrote and illustrated the original manga. It ran from 1991 to 1999 in Weekly Shonen Champion and was collected into 42 volumes. There were 3 sequel manga series, Baki, Baki Hanma, and Baki-Dou, all of which ran in the same magazine. Lastly, the 5th series, also titled Baki-Dou (but romanized differently), started in October 2018.
The latest reboot began in 2018 with Baki, which ran for 26 episodes and was animated by Double Eagle and TMS Entertainment. Baki: The Great Raitai Tournament Saga followed in the Spring of 2020. Baki Hanma (also known as Baki: Son of Ogre) is the third installment of the reboot, and Baki Hanma Season 2 will be picking up right after the first season.
