A teaser video for Baki Hanma Season 2 was released on Monday, after the official site for the series announced on March 24 that the upcoming season is currently in production.
No official word on when season two might air but the staff has been revealed. The upcoming season is produced by TMS Entertainment and will stream exclusively on Netflix. The staff includes:

- Series composition: Tatsuhiko Urahata
- Music: Kenji Fujisawa
Baki Hanma: Song of Ogre started the third installment of the Baki series, which aired back in Fall 2021. Baki Hanma received 12 episodes and is the sequel to season two of Baki, which is also available to watch on Netflix.
While that may sound confusing to some, as mentioned before, there are five installments of the Baki series.
- Grappler Baki (first series)
- Baki (second series)
- Baki Hanma (third series)
- Baki-Dou (fourth series)
- Bakidou (fifth series)
The Baki manga series is created and illustrated by Keisuke Itagaki. The first installment of the series Grappler Baki, was serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion from 1991 to 1998 and is comprised of 42 volumes in total. Each of the four sequels was serialized in the same magazine. Baki ran from 1995 to 2005 with 31 volumes published. Baki Hanma from 2005 to 2012 with 37 volumes. Baki-Dou from 2014-2018 with 22 volumes. And Bakidou, which began serialization in 2018
Baki Hanma Season 2 Synopsis
The story finally unfolds into a full-blooded clash between Baki Hanma and his father, Yujiro Hanma, who is known as the “strongest creature on earth.” The climax of the Baki universe, which depicted the “strongest parent-child brawl in history of the world” in the original manga, has been adapted into the long-awaited anime!
