Bandai Namco will collaborate with Nike’s Air Jordan brand for a set of new collectible model kits inspired by the Nike Air Jordan 1 High 85 Shadow and Reverse Shadow models. Pre-orders open on Wednesday, July 30, with a sample illustration revealed below.
The sneaker model kits are priced at $130 and will be available to pre-order from the Premium Bandai U.S. website, which ships only within the U.S. The collaboration follows Nike’s previous Bandai Namco collaborations, such as the Nike SB x Gundam sneakers and past sneaker-inspired model kits. Other recent anime sneaker collaborations include Naruto Shippuden x Converse (May 2025) and One Piece‘s Puma sneakers, released last year. Nike announced a collaboration with Yu-Gi-Oh! earlier this month.
Bandai Namco is currently working on the latest anime installment of its long-running Gundam franchise, Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe. The film received a new visual at SDCC ahead of its Winter 2025 release in both Japan and North America. Also at SDCC, Bandai Namco unveiled a new 30th-anniversary anime commemorative short for Mobile Suit Gundam Wing and directed by Toru Iwasawa. You can check it out below.
