What’s The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity About?
The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity manga was written by Saka Mikami. Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket has serialized the series since October 2021. Kodansha USA publishes the English version of the manga in North America; it is also available digitally via their K Manga service.
When the petite Kaoruko walks into the Tsumugi Family’s patisserie, she inadvertently makes a connection that will follow her throughout her life. After crossing paths with Tsugumi’s son, Rintaro, Kaoruko sees past his delinquent-esque appearance and finds a gentle spirit. And after Tsugumi saves Karuko from a harassment incident, the separate paths the duo walks converge into one. And as their friendship strengthens, it steadily blooms into a love that’s outside of the platonic.
