The BLEACH anime is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2024, and two special visuals have been released featuring the protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki. The anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s manga premiered on October 5, 2004. The first visual features Ichigo in front of a bunch of cool frames featuring different characters from different episodes. Check it out below.
The other visual features a more serious Ichigo.
In addition, a special event will be held from April 26 to May 26. Titled “BLECAH The Locus of Brave,” it also has its own visual and website.
Studio Pierrot previously produced the original TV anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s BLEACH manga, which aired between October 2004 and March 2012 with a total of 366 episodes. They are now also in charge of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, which will air its 3rd part, subtitled The Conflict, this year. The latest trailer was shown at last year’s Jump Festa event.
VIZ Media licensed the manga in English, and they describe the BLEACH: TYBWA story:
The peace is suddenly broken when warning sirens blare through the Soul Society. Residents there are disappearing without a trace and nobody knows who’s behind it, meanwhile, a dark shadow is also extending itself toward Ichigo and his friends in Karakura Town…
