Shueisha’s Shonen Jump Channel released the latest entry in its ongoing JUMP MV collaboration series, this time pairing Tite Kubo’s BLEACH with Aimer’s song “Re:pray.” The franchise recently revealed a JUMP MV in collaboration with ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION and its”After Dark.”

“Re:pray” was originally the 29th ending theme for the BLEACH anime, used in the Lost Substitute Shinigami Arc (also known as the Fullbringer Arc) from Episodes 343 to 354. The story itself covered Episodes 343 through 366, adapting manga Chapters 424 to 479 as Ichigo Kurosaki attempted to regain his Soul Reaper powers after losing them at the conclusion of the Arrancar saga.

Created by Tite Kubo, BLEACH was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016 and concluded with 74 volumes. The manga has exceeded 130 million copies in circulation worldwide, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time.

The original anime adaptation aired from 2004 to 2012 and received four theatrical films. The franchise returned in 2022 with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, adapting the manga’s final arc. Its final part (Part 4) is set to release in July. Tite Kubo has confirmed it will include even more original material than the previous parts, expanding the manga’s final battles. It will premiere early in US theaters with the first three episodes.
