The upcoming BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls game has revealed its first character trailer, featuring the protagonist, Ichigo Kurosaki. The game previously revealed its first gameplay preview.
Ichigo shows off some of his skills against Renji, and we can see him using both Bankai and his part-Hollow form.
Ichigo’s skillset in BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls consists of:
- Reverse: Reverse action is the key to offense and defense in this game. In addition to the effects of the normal reverse action, Ichigo is given various enhancements, such as a boost in basic performance, changes in some actions, and an increase in damage from the Kikon Move.
- Special Flash Attack: A move that attacks while charging forward. When successfully executed the attack can be continued if an additional input is made during the attack.
- Wielding: An attack used by wielding Zangetsu that momentarily makes Ichigo invincible. An additional powerful attack is activated when it successfully hits.
- Awakening: Ichigo’s performance, speed, and defense dramatically increase, as well as the number of additional Special Flash Attacks, allowing for more aggressive attacks to be carried out.
The new console game was announced at this year’s Anime Expo. It is developed by Tamsoft Corporation and will be available on PS4, PS5, XBOX and on PC via Steam. The release date has not been announced.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) Part 3: The Conflict anime also revealed new information at Anime Expo, including a visual, trailer and the new theme songs. It is scheduled to premiere this October, with PIERROT FILMS animating.
