BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Teams Up With Star Wars: Andor for Collaboration Visual

A new visual collaboration between BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) and Star Wars: Andor has been released. The crossover draws a parallel between the characters from the two franchises, highlighting fate and resistance from their respective stories.

The promotional visual features BLEACH replicating the Star Wars: Andor poster, with Uryu Ishida and Cassian Andor in the same position. The description describes Uryu challenging his destiny, with Cassian resisting overwhelming power. Interestingly, Ichigo is in the same position as a Stormtrooper.

This collaboration coincides with the May 14 release of Andor Season 2’s final episodes on Disney+. Both titles are currently available for streaming on the platform.

Overview of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War is the latest anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s manga, covering its final arc. The series began airing in 2022, with each part (cour) released across multiple seasons:

Animation is handled by PIERROT FILMS, a new production label under Studio Pierrot. Direction is led by Hikaru Murata, with series composition by Tomohisa Taguchi and Masaki Hiramatsu. Character designs were created by Masashi Kudo, with music composed by Shiro Sagisu.

Final Part Titled The Calamity

Following the conclusion of Part 3, the title for the fourth and final cour was revealed as BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 – The Calamity. A teaser trailer and visual featuring protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki were released alongside the announcement.

According to series creator Tite Kubo, the final part will include even more additional original content not present in the manga than the previous parts. Several scenes previewed in early trailers, such as the appearance of adult Toshiro Hitsugaya, have yet to be animated, suggesting they will be featured in Part 4.

In addition to the anime, the franchise recently launched the latest game, BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls.
