BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) Part 3 was listed for a multiple-episode finale set to release on December 28. Previously, both Part 1 and Part 2 had double-episode final episodes. Coincidentally, BLUE LOCK Season 2 also has a double-episode finale scheduled for December 28.
UPDATE: The 1-hour special finale has been announced, along with an Episode 38 trailer and new voice cast for young Haschwalth and Bazz-B.
The listing has “Final Episodes” set to arrive on December 28, but it’s still unclear if there will be 13 or 14 episodes in this cour. If there are 13 like in the previous cours, it means that there is likely to be a recap episode or a special program next Saturday. Next Saturday will also be the first day of Jump Festa 2025, when some teaser of the finale may be released.
PIERROT FILMS is animating BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War. It is the new brand of Pierrot’s second studio, and they announced that the headquarter studio will continue to work closely with it. It has Hikaru Murata as the director, with Tomohisa Taguchi and Masaki Hiramatsu in charge of the series composition. Masashi Kudo is the character designer, and Shiro Sagisu is in charge of the music. Chief animation directors include Yukio Hasegawa, Sei Komatsubara, Masashi Kudo, and Kumiko Takayanagi.

Studio Pierrot previously produced the original TV anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s BLEACH manga, which aired between October 2004 and March 2012 with a total of 366 episodes. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English, while the anime is streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.
BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 -The Conflict- is the third of four parts of the new anime. It was voted the most anticipated Fall 2024 anime. It premiered on October 5, and the first two episodes both ranked first in our weekly ranking. It also topped the ranking in week 6, week 8, week 9, week 10, and week 11.
BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls game is coming on March 21, 2025, with the latest trailer featuring Sosuke Aizen.
