BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) Part 3: The Conflict anime will reveal new information on July 7, including a visual, trailer and the theme songs. The announcement will come during Anime Expo 2024, and the trailer release is scheduled for 10:00AM JST. It will be the fourth main trailer for the ongoing BLEACH adaptation.
Studio Pierrot is animating, and the studio previously also produced the original TV anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s BLEACH manga, which aired between October 2004 and March 2012 with a total of 366 episodes. The Thousand-Year Blood War is streaming on Disney+ and Hulu, while VIZ Media licensed the manga in English. They describe the BLEACH: TYBWA story:
The peace is suddenly broken when warning sirens blare through the Soul Society. Residents there are disappearing without a trace and nobody knows who’s behind it, meanwhile, a dark shadow is also extending itself toward Ichigo and his friends in Karakura Town…
The anime is celebrating its 20th anniversary and has also announced that its first musical since 2015 will be held this year. It’s called BLEACH: Arrancar the Beginning.
