BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) Part 4 The Calamity premiered Episode 6 “THE END” on August 29 with new changes to its ending video. While the majority of the video is unchanged, there are several frames that now feature Uryu Ishida. This follows the previous episodes, where Ichigo was replaced by Kisuke Urahara in Episode 2, Orihime Inoue in Episode 3, and Rukia Kuchiki in Episode 4.
There was no ending sequence last week, when the song played over Orihime Inoue’s scene at the end of the episode.
You can see the new scenes from today’s episode below.
The ending theme song is “Rasen” by 9Lana. You can watch the video on the anime’s official X account.
Created by Tite Kubo, BLEACH was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016 and concluded with 74 volumes. The manga has exceeded 130 million copies in circulation worldwide, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time.
The original anime adaptation aired from 2004 to 2012 and received four theatrical films. The franchise returned in 2022 with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, adapting the manga’s final arc. Its final part (Part 4) is set to release in July. Tite Kubo has confirmed it will include even more original material than the previous parts, expanding the manga’s final battles. Hulu recently confirmed that the final part of the anime will run for 10 episodes.
On a related note, BLEACH: Mirrors High opened pre-registrations earlier today, with the game set to launch in 2026.
