The upcoming Blue Box Season 2 revealed a main visual and trailer, along with the opening and ending theme songs on Wednesday. Singer aiko is performing “Anata no Hana no Iro” for the opening theme song, while the band elsewhere kikou sings “blue in” for the ending theme song. The sequel is slated to premiere on October 4, 2026.

Studio Electric Circus is animating the second season, replacing Telecom Animation Film. Daisuke Sato is the new director, taking over from Yuichiro Yano. The returning staff includes Yuko Kakihara as the one handling the series composition, Miho Tanino as character designer, and features music by Takashi Omama.

Koji Miura writes and draws the manga for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The manga began serialization in April 2021 and has 24 published volumes as of February 2026. MANGA Plus describes Miura’s Blue Box manga:
