Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki Light Novel To Conclude With 12th Volume

Yuki Yaku has announced that the Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki light novel will end with its 12^th volume on October 16. The author revealed the news on his X (Twitter) account. Shogakukan has published the light novel through its Gagaga Bunko imprint since May 2016. Fly illustrates the Jaku-kyara Tomozaki-kun. The light novel’s “last stage” began with the 11th volume in March 2023.

While Fumiya Tomozaki excels at gaming, his social skills and grass-touching abilities are non-existent. So even though Tomozaki dominated Attack Families‘ leaderboard, he’s an NPC at school. But despite his lamentable social skills, Tomozaki agrees to a meetup when Attack Families‘ second-best player asks to meet him offline. To his surprise, his “perfect” normie classmate, Aoi Hinami, is the game’s second-best player! And unlike him, she believes life is a GOATed game! But will Tomozaki accept Aoi’s cheat-level advice for the game of life?

Eight Chida adapted the light novel into a manga published by Square Enix. Monthly Gangan Joker serialized the manga from December 2017 to February 2021. The series also has a spin-off manga, Minami Nanami Wants to Shine, illustrated by Bana Yoshida and serialized in Monthly Sunday Gene-X and MangaONE.

Yen Press publishes the light novel and manga in North America.
