Bungo Stray Dogs Volume 23 and Spin-Off Wan! Volume 10 Released

Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa’s Bungo Stray Dogs manga released the latest, 23rd volume along with the 10th volume of its spin-off, Neco Kanai’s Bungo Stray Dogs: Wan! on Wednesday. The series surpassed 12 million circulating copies. On the day, the editorial departments of KADOKAWA’s Shone Young Ace and Young Ace magazines opened a joint official TikTok account. Special videos about Bungo Stray Dogs will be posted and currently, a video is available on the page.

Kafka Asagiri has been writing the Bungo Stray Dogs manga with art by Sango Harukawa in KADOKAWA’s monthly Young Ace magazine since December 2012. The spin-off series Bungo Stray Dogs: Wan! by Neco Kanai is ongoing on the company’s manga website Young Ace Up. Studio BONES is animating the Bungo Stray Dogs anime series: the first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2016, the second season from October to December 2016, and the third season from April to June 2019. The upcoming fourth season is scheduled to begin broadcasting on January 4, 2023. A film adaptation titled Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple premiered in March 2018 in Japan. Co-animated by studio NOMAD, Bungo Stray Dogs: Wan! anime aired from January to March 2021.

Yen Press licensed the series for English releases including the spin-off, and the 22nd volume of Bungo Stray Dogs is scheduled to be released on January 17, 2023, while the 4th volume’s release of Bungo Stray Dogs: Wan! is set for February 21, 2023. The official website describes the plot of Bungo Stray Dogs‘ debut volume as:
Having been kicked out of the orphanage, a despairing young man by the name of Atsushi Nakajima rescues a strange man from a suicide attempt–Osamu Dazai. Turns out that Dazai is part of an armed-detective agency staffed by individuals whose supernatural powers take on a literary bent!
