The cafe shop from the Lycoris Recoil original anime, Café LycoReco, posted on Tuesday an illustration of Takina Inoue on Twitter. The shop has been posting “photos” of characters ever since the anime ended. Takina Inoue is wearing her shop uniform with an awkward look on her face, looking at sweets she baked on a plate. According to the caption by Chisato Nishikigi, the members have returned from their vacation on a tropical island and Takina came up with new menu items.

The official Twitter account of the anime quote-tweeted it and said: “These sweets are… 🤔.” Previously, Café LycoReco posted a selfie of Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue after the finale of the Lycoris Recoil original anime, and in the middle of November a photo of Kurumi enjoying sweets on a tropical island, taken by Mizuki Nakahara.
Chika Anzai (Chisa Kotegawa in Grand Blue Dreaming) voiced Chisato Nishikigi, while Shion Wakayama (Destiny in Takt Op. Destiny) played the role of Takina Inoue. The voice actresses took the top 2 spots in Anime Corner’s Seiyu of the Season for Summer 2022 with Anzai’s win.

Studio A-1 Pictures produced the original Lycoris Recoil anime, which aired from July to September 2022. The story was written by Asaura, known for his battles-over-bento-boxes light novel Ben-To, while the characters were designed by Imigimuru, the author of This Art Club Has a Problem manga. Shingo Adachi, who is known as the chief animation director and character designer of the Sword Art Online series, directed the series. The anime was voted by fans as Anime Corner’s Best Anime of the Summer 2022 Season, and one of the main characters, Chisato Nishikigi won the Best Girl of the season.
