Call of the Night anime released a preview trailer and images for episode 11 along with the title and synopsis. The episode will be broadcast on September 15 and the title is “Have You Ever Heard of Vampires?” which matches the manga’s 38th chapter compiled in the 4th volume. The anime seems to be animating the manga’s 36th, 37th, and 38th chapters in the next episode.
The newly released images show a new character Anko Uguisu along with the protagonist Ko Yamori, his childhood friends Akira Asai and Mahiru Seki, and vampire Nazuna Nanakusa.
The episode’s synopsis describes the protagonist’s first encounter with the new character Anko Uguisu:
After Nazuna’s suggestion, Ko was trying to attract customers to their sleep-together shop. He talked to a tired-looking woman and went to a café together with her. He happens to be interested in the woman’s smoking and gloves, and asks what she does for work. He receives her business card which says “detective”…
“I learned one thing after working at the maid café,” vampire Nazuna Nanakusa begins this week’s preview trailer, and reveals her pleasure: “Money is wonderful…” And she reaches a conclusion, attracting customers, which makes Ko Yamori go. His plan is to talk to a person who really looks exhausted if he finds one. “Um, you look tired…” The school student actually finds a woman who matches the criteria and strikes a conversation with her. But he comes to an embarrassing realization: “I’m hitting on her…!“
