To Be Hero X is enjoying global success, with recent interviews with Aniplex producer Shizuka Kurosaki confirming that the series is a major hit in Latin America, and particularly North America. She added in her interview with Branc that the preference in these territories was to watch anime dubbed over subbed and spoke about the unorthodox approach to producing the anime, namely the lack of a finalized script for all episodes before the production stage. She added further details in another interview with Nikkei XTrend.
