Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 revealed the first trailer, and they confirmed a January 2025 release date for the animated series. The sequel was announced a week after after the 8-episode first season, which released on Netflix on September 28.
The showrunners are Kevin Kolde and Clive Bradley, with Bradley also serving as creator/writer. Sam Deats and Adam Deats are co-directing. Project 51 Productions and Powerhouse Animation are in charge of the production and animation, respectively. The voice cast includes:
- Edward Bluemel as Richter Belmont
- Pixie Davies as Maria Renard
- Thuso Mbedu as Annette
- Sydney James Harcourt as Edouard
- Nastassja Kinski as Tera
- Zahn McClarnon as Olrox
- Franka Potente as Erzsebet Báthory

Now joined by the legendary Alucard, Richter Belmont and his band of vampire hunters are in a desperate race against time. Erzsebet Báthory, the Vampire Messiah, who already seems invincible, seeks the full power of the goddess Sekhmet so she can plunge the world into endless darkness and terror.
Castlevania: Nocturne focuses on Richter Belmont, the descendant of Trevor Belmont, the protagonist of the original Castlevania animated series.
