Chained Soldier Season 2 unveiled its first trailer on Thursday, showcasing the commanders of the Demon Defense Force. The anime premieres in January 2026 with Passione × Hayabusa Film animating.
The trailer introduces the commanders of the 10 squads: the 1st Squad, Konomi Tatara; the 2nd Squad, Mira Kamiunten; the 3rd Squad, Belle Tsukiyono; the 5th Squad, Yakumo Ezo; the 6th Squad, Tenka Izumo; the 7th Squad, KyoukaUzen; the 8th Squad, Varvara Pilipenko; the 9th Squad, Fubuki Azuma; and the Supreme Commander and 10th Squad commander, Ren Yamashiro.

Chained Soldier (Mato Seihei no Slave) anime is based on a manga series written by Takahiro (Akame Ga Kill author), with illustrations by Yohei Takemura. Yen Press is publishing the manga in English, and they describe the story:
Decades ago, gates to an otherworldly and dangerous dimension known as Mato—the “Demon City”—appeared across Japan.
