The previously announced Chainsaw Man: The Reze Arc movie revealed the second trailer and a 2025 premiere date in Japan. The information was announced during the Jump Festa ’25 stage, along with two “contrasting” visuals.
Reina Ueda was cast as Reze last year. Studio MAPPA is animating the movie and the staff includes:

Studio MAPPA animated the first season of the Chainsaw Man adaptation under Ryu Nakayama’s direction. Nakayama has since started his own animation studio. Kazutaka Sugiyama is the character designer, with Kiyotaka Oshiyama, who is credited for creature designs. Kensuke Ushio is composing the music. The main cast includes:

The manga has been split into two parts: the second part has been ongoing since July 2023. MangaPLUS app is publishing it in English: all chapters are available to read for free while using the app. Viz Media is in charge of physical releases and describes the plot as:

MAPPA channel describes the plot of The Reze Arc movie as:
Denji became “Chainsaw Man”, a boy with a devil’s heart, and is now part of Special Division 4’s devil hunters. After a date with Makima, the woman of his dreams, Denji takes shelter from the rain. There he meets Reze, a girl who works in a café.
