The spooky and candy season may have come and gone, but English voice actress Cherami Leigh has one last treat for us all. The VA took to Instagram to announce the birth of Cierli Ember, a baby girl, born on October 8th.
Cherami Leigh is an accomplished and prolific voice actress across video games and anime, best known for her roles as Lucy Heartfilia in Fairy Tail, Asuna Yuuki in Sword Art Online, and Sailor Venus in the Viz Media dub of Sailor Moon. She also voices Rhea in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, the female protagonist in Cyberpunk 2077, and Makoto Niijima in Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal (along with its anime adaptation).
For her performance as Female V in Cyberpunk 2077, Cherami was nominated for “Best Performer in a Leading Role” at the 17th British Academy Games Awards in 2017, and this year, was nominated for “Best Voice Artist Performance (English)” at the 7th Crunchyroll Anime Awards for her role as Kotaro Sato in Kotaro Lives Alone.
Cherami has been married to fellow actor and occasional VA, Jon Christie, since April 2014.
