A Girl & Her Guard Dog anime has released the preview images for episode 6. The sixth episode is scheduled to air on November 2 at 24:30 (JST). It will be distributed simultaneously on Crunchyroll, and Amazon Prime Video an hour after.
Isaku and Keiya go to a festival downtown, but Isaku ends up running into her classmates in elementary school, who know that she’s the granddaughter of a yakuza. However, Keiya takes Isaku’s hand and excuses themselves from her classmates as they are “on a date”. Before she knows it, Isaku finds herself enjoying her night, pretending to be on a date with Keiya. Check the preview images here:
A Girl & Her Guard Dog anime adaptation is based on an ongoing manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Hatsuharu. Project No.9 is animating the series with Yoshihiro Takamoto directing. Yoriko Tomita, Aya Satsuki, and Miharu Hirami are penning the script. Masayoshi Ooishi is performing the opening theme “Suki ni Naccha Dame na Hito.” Aside from providing the voice for the female lead Isaku Senagaki, Akari Kito is also singing the ending theme “Magie×Magie.” The voice cast includes:

- Akari Kito as Isaku Senagaki
- Junya Enoki as Kaori Sekiya
- Mai Nakahara as Mikio Tanuki
