The fans of Made in Abyss might like the adventure aspect of SAKUGAN. Studio Satelight’s latest anime is coming in October.

Set in the far future where humans live in a cramped underground Labyrinth, the plot centers around Memempu, a 9-year-old girl who lives with her father. Her father, Gagumber, is a worker and belongs to the lowest class of citizens. He spends his days doing dangerous tasks, while Memempu learns about science. Memempu is a genius and it is her dream to become a Marker – explorer of the Labyrinth, which is something her father did before he quit and settled down. The marking job is dangerous, but Memempu wants to find her mother who left home. And so Gagumber must set out once again, to help her discover the truth of the Labyrinth.

Blade Runner: Black Lotus

The book that the franchise is based on, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? came out in 1968, but it wasn’t until 1982 that the first Blade Runner movie came out. Ever since the franchise has kept the fans invested and Black Lotus is just the latest in line of adaptations.

Sola Digital Arts is animating, with Cartoon Network / Adult Swim and Crunchyroll as producers. The CG anime is going to have 13 episodes, and it’s still not clear when exactly we can expect the first episode.

Following the events of Black Out 2022, Black Lotus is set 10 years later. Featuring familiar faces and an all-new female protagonist. However, things in the world of Blade Runner may not be what they first seem.
