DAN DA DAN anime revealed a new key visual, 5 new cast members, as well as three short trailers focusing on different aspects of the show. Science SARU is animating, and it will begin streaming on Crunchyroll and Netflix from October 3. The first three episodes are currently showing in theaters worldwide as DAN DA DAN: FIRST ENCOUNTER.
Joining the anime are:
- Ryuzaburo Otomo as Flatwoods Monster
- Kikuko Inoue as Acrobatic Silky
- Tomokazu Seki as Dover Demon
- Tomokazu Sugita as Taro
- Fumi Hirano as Hana
The first trailer is focusing on action and battles, and you can watch it below.
The second one focuses on love/romance, and it features the ending song “Taidada” by Zutomayo.
The third and final short trailer focuses on the occult.
Fuga Yamashiro is directing, with Hiroshi Seko in charge of the series composition and Naoyuki Onda as the character designer. The anime previewed its opening theme song by Creepy Nuts in the last main trailer. The main Japanese voice cast consists of:
- Shion Wakayama as Momo Ayase
- Natsuki Hanae as Ken Okarun Takakura
- Mayumi Tanaka as Turbo-Granny
- Kazuya Nakai as Serpoian Alien
DAN DA DAN anime is based on the manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, which began serialization on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service in 2021.
