Battle Chronicle game (also known as DanChro) announced that original light novel author Fujino Omori will be penning an epilogue to the 2019 Arrow of the Orion film. The epilogue by Omori will be distributed within the DanChro game, likely in 3D animation given the first preview cut. The epilogue will be released on February 14, 2024, almost exactly five years after Arrow of the Orion was released in Japan on February 15, 2019. The DanChro game by developers Aiming Inc. has been a success since its launch in August 2023, with 500k downloads and a 4.0 rating on Google Play.

Fujino Omori wrote the screenplay for Arrow of the Orion, set between the events of seasons 1 and 2 of J.C.Staff’s anime adaptation. Katsushi Sakurabi directed the film. The epilogue comes at an exciting time for fans, following the announcement that a fifth season of DanMachi would be produced, and its first trailer.

HIDIVE streams Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Arrow of the Orion, and describes the film: “A fated meeting brings together Bell and the goddess Artemis, who has sworn to destroy a monster lurking in a distant city.”
