A new episode (Episode 15) of the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End mini anime series has been released, this time featuring the debut of Denken, Richter, and Lawine. Titled “Magic for High-Speed Travel,” Episode 15 focuses on the characters who previously appeared in the anime’s First-Class Mage Exam Arc. The short is available on the series’ official YouTube channel.
The mini anime is part of the ongoing Frieren – ●● no Maho project, which shows original short stories focused on specific types of magic. The characters are shown in chibi-style designs created by illustrator Mebachi. In this episode, Denken and Lawine drop by Richter’s magic shop with no real purpose, leading to a light exchange between the three. The magic featured this time is Airfahren, a spell used by Lawine that allows for high-speed movement.
This follows Episode 14, which featured Übel and Land trying to demonstrate Übel’s signature slicing magic. That episode marked their first appearance in the mini anime as well.
