Digimon Adventure anime celebrated its 25th anniversary with a special video, featuring the iconic opening theme song “Butter-Fly” by Koji Wada. The anime first premiered in 1999, after which it evolved into a huge hit worldwide. The video “traces the trajectory of that summer’s adventures, presented as a token of gratitude to all the “children” of the world.”
The video was directed by Masao Okubo and storyboarded by Yu Kamatani. It features Chinatsu Sakamoto as Agumon. Yumeta Company was in charge of the animation, with Toei Animation credited for the production. Check it out below.
Digimon Adventure is a 1999 Japanese anime series produced by Toei Animation in cooperation with WiZ, Bandai and Fuji Television. It was the first anime series in the Digimon media franchise, based on the Digital Monster virtual pet released in 1997. It received numerous other adaptations and spin-offs.

While at summer camp, seven kids come across seven Digivices and are transported to a strange digital world. In this new world they make friends with creatures that call themselves Digimon who were born to defend their world from various evil forces.
