Do It Yourself episode 1 preview has been released. The upcoming original slice-of-life/comedy anime will begin airing on October 5 (24:30PM, JST). It is produced and animated by studio Pine Jam, with Kazuhiro Yoneda as the director.
The official website for the anime describes the episode 1 synopsis with an introduction of the main characters Serufu Yua and Miku Suride. The two have been friends since childhood, and are aiming to go to the same high school together. However, Serufu is not accepted and instead enrolls in a different high school.
One day, as she is biking to school, her bicycle breaks and she finds herself at a loss on how to fix it. That is until she is helped by Kurei Yazakirei, a senior from the same school. She offers to fix her bike, and then tells Serufu that she is the head of the DIY club, encouraging students to improve their handicraft, from woodwork to fixing things. Inspired, Serufu joins the DIY club to help out other members.
