Tech accessory brand CASETiFY released a new collaboration with the popular Doraemon anime series on July 29, 2024, following a successful release earlier this year. New products range from $62 – $128 and can be bought worldwide via the CASETiFY Co-Lab app and website.
It includes the MagSafe Charger Cover, featuring Doraemon’s winking face, the Cover Grip Stand, doubling as a phone holder and spotlighting the character’s bottom half peeking out, and the 2-in-1 Charger, which is adorned with an image of Doraemon cozily napping on a cloud. As mentioned, this marks the second Doraemon | CASETiFY collection. The first featured a massive range of accessories, including phone cases, headphones, Apple Watch straps, phone holders, laptop covers, and more.
CASETiFY regularly collaborates with anime series, just this year rolling out JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure merch, and multiple Jujutsu Kaisen tech accessory collections, commemorating the first with a large-scale prison realm installation.
The first Doraemon anime by Nippon TeleMovie Productions debuted in 1973 and was followed up by Shin-Ei Animation’s highly successful 1979 series that aired until 2005. A third Doraemon series, also by Shin-Ei, airs to this day. The anime adapts Fujiko F. Fujio’s original manga, which is among the best-selling series of all time with 100 million copies in circulation (Mangazenkan). It remains popular with fans despite its conclusion in 1996, adding another 5 million copies of manga and related books as recently as 2020 (PR Times).
