In a new message from the ONE PIECE creator Eiichiro Oda, he praised the cast again and said that Season 2 of the live-action will surpass Season 1. Talking about the huge sets, insane attention to detail and the ‘perfect choice’ of new cast members, Eiichiro Oda definitely gives more reason to expect even more from the sequel of an already incredible first season. In a previous message, Eiichiro Oda confirmed that Season 2 of the ONE PIECE live-action will cover content from Loguetown to the end of Drum Island. They also revealed the first look at Chopper in September.

The live-action series has Matt Owens (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luke Cage) and Steven Maeda (The X-Files, CSI: Miami, Lost) serving as writers, executive producers, and showrunners. The creator, Eiichiro Oda, is also among the show’s executive producers. Netflix also shared his chair today, which you can check out below.
