Elegant, Fiesty and Cute - The FREEing Taiga Aisaka Bunny Figure

For a lot of people in the anime community, tsunderes are the ideal girlfriends. They are loyal, prone to dramatic outbursts, and dislike public displays of affection (or affection in general). Plus, they have a penchant for twin-tails, something a lot of anime fans adore. And few tsunderes are as renowned as Toradora‘s palm top tiger. And with the FREEing Taiga Aisaka Bunny Figure, you can own a piece of tsundere history and you get a sexy waifu bunny figure, a true two for one.

Retailing for $146 on the Good Smile US website, the pre-order window is open until October 23, which gives one enough time to sell their soul for a couple of bucks. The 1/6 scale figure stands at approximately 10.6″ and features Toradora’s main heroine in a lovely white bunny suit coupled with black lace stockings and a somewhat angry expression. Her hands are raised to mimic a tiger’s claws, and a cute little yellow bowtie buffs the kawaii factor hard. The FREEing Taiga Aisaka Bunny Figure was painted by Hiroto Tanimoto, and they did an A+ job.

One of the best rom-coms out there, Yuyuko Takemiya’s Toradora (artwork by Yasu), was adapted into a 25-episode anime by J.C. Staff as part of the Fall 2008 anime roster. Toradora follows Ryuuji Takasu and Taiga Aisaka, a pair of walking contradictions who originally come together to help each other with their romantic interests. But, as time goes on and the two become closer, who they like shifts, and the distance between the two increasingly blurs as time goes by. Toradora is available on Crunchyroll and Netflix and is a must-watch for rom-com fans. The light novel ran from March 2006 to March 2009 and boasts 10 volumes. A Toradora Playstation Portable game was also released by Bandai Namico in 2009.
