Even Given the Worthless “Appraiser” Class, I’m Actually the Strongest is getting a TV anime adaptation, set to release in 2025. The announcement was followed with a teaser visual, featuring the three main characters.
Even Given the Worthless “Appraiser” Class, I’m Actually the Strongest is a Japanese light novel series written by Ibarakino and illustrated by Yu Hitaki. It was serialized online from December 2019 to January 2022 on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. It was later acquired by Kodansha, who have published two volumes since October 2020 under their Kodansha Ranobe Books imprint. There is also a manga adaptation by Morohoshi Fuji. It has been serialized online via Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website since July 2020 and released eleven volumes so far. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English, describing the story:
In a fantasy world where “jobs” are god-given from birth, heroes are born, not made…and Ein’s job of “Appraiser” has put him about as far from the “hero” pedestal as possible. Used, abused, and eventually abandoned by his fellow adventurers, Ein decides it just isn’t worth going on… Lucky for Ein, though, the end may just be the beginning…and a new lease on life. Turns out, his “worthless” job may just be the key to becoming a hero after all…
