Anime streaming service HIDIVE announced today that it will stream Oshi no Ko Season 3, which adapts Aka Akasaka (story) and Mengo Yokoyari’s best-selling manga of the same name. HIDIVE streamed the first two seasons of Oshi no Ko exclusive to its platform. At the time of the series debut in April of 2023, Oshi no Ko was the #1 series launch in HIDIVE’s streaming history and quickly rose to the number 1 ranked series on MyAnimeList. Season 3 will premiere this January as part of HIDIVE’s Winter 2026 simulcast season and will be available to subscribers in both the U.S. and Canada as well as in locations including the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. More details on the precise episode schedule will be released soon.
This past October, Crunchyroll revealed (during New York Comic Con) that it would be streaming Season 3, bringing the anime to that platform for the very first time. With HIDIVE’s acquisition announcement, this marks the first time that the anime will be available on both of the streaming services.
The Oshi no Ko manga concluded with the publication of its final chapter in Shueisha’s Young Jump Comics on November 14, 2024. Oshi no Ko Season 3 is directed by Daisuke Hiramaki with series composition by Jin Tanaka and animation production by Doga Kobo. Kanna Hirayama is the chief animation director. Voice actors include Takeo Otsuka as Aqua, Yurie Ikoma as Ruby, Megumi Han as Kana Arima, Manaka Iwami as Akane Kurokawa, and Rumi Okubo as MEMcho.
