The TV anime adaptation of Ryogo Narita’s Fate/strange Fake light novel series will get its world premiere this November in Los Angeles. The news was unveiled at Aniplex Online Fest 2024, and the new series will pick up immediately after the events of Fate/strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn, the 1-hour TV special that aired on July 2, 2023.
Studio A-1 pictures is again be animating Fate/strange Fake, and they have released two character visuals for the 4 main characters.
The cast for the series includes recurring and newly-announced roles as follows:

- Yuki Ono as Saber
- Sumire Morohoshi as Tine Chelc
- Tomokazu Seki as Gilgamesh (Archer)
- Yuu Kobayashi as Enkidu (Lancer)

- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Flatt Escardos

- Tatsumaru Tachibana as Jester Karturei

- Junya Enoki as Faldeus Dioland

- Daisuke Namikawa as Waver Velvet (Lord El-Melloi II)
Fate/strange Fake follows a “True” and “False” Holy Grail war that takes place in the United States, seventy years after the Third Holy Grail war depicted in the Fate/stay night anime and movie. You can read what we thought about Fate/strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn here.
The Fate/stay night franchise originated as visual novels from Type-Moon, and have recently been gathering new fans with the 2024 release of Fate/stay night REMASTERED, which is the first official English localization of the game. Additionally, Tsukihime: A piece of blue glass moon arrived in the West, featuring a full remake of the first two routes from Tsukihime, Type-Moon’s first visual novel released in December 2000.
