Nakamura Yuki hopes to become one of the few female members of the special rescue corps known as “Orange.” When these three young firefighters who share the goal of becoming members of Orange come together, the story of how Japan will one day be saved begins… and what looms before them is a crisis that endangers the entire country!
The Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange anime (Firefighter! Daigo of Fire Company M: Kyukoku no Orange) is based on the Megumi no Daigo: Kyukoku no Orange manga by Masahito Soda, with assistance from Kuro Tomiyama. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine since October 2020. The manga is preceded by the 1995 manga Megumi no Daigo by the same author. It was published under Shogakukan Weekly Shonen Sunday.
This was followed by a 1999 anime film directed by Susumu Nishizawa and animated by Sunrise. In 2004, a television drama series also aired on Fuji TV and had 11 episodes.
