Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 unveiled the preview for episode 8 on Tuesday. The episode will be available to stream on Crunchyroll and Muse Asia, premiering on March 13.
The first season of the anime ran for 28 episodes from September 29, 2024, and it was directed by Keiichiro Saito. MADHOUSE is animating the sequel with Tomoya Kitagawa as director. Tomohiro Suzuki is in charge of the series composition, with Yuri Fujinaka, Keisuke Kojima, and Maru Takase on character designs. Evan Call is composing the music.
The opening theme song “lulu.” is performed by Mrs. GREEN APPLE while milet returns to sing the ending theme song “The Story of Us.”
Kanehito Yamada writes the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End manga, with illustrations from Tsukasa Abe. It has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday manga magazine since April 2020.

After the party of heroes defeated the Demon King, they restored peace to the land and returned to lives of solitude. Generations pass, and the elven mage Frieren comes face to face with humanity’s mortality. She takes on a new apprentice and promises to fulfill old friends’ dying wishes. Can an elven mind make peace with the nature of life and death? Frieren embarks on her quest to find out.
