During the commemoration stream for the 20th anniversary of “Fullmetal Alchemist” manga, a mobile game inspired by the series got announced. Square Enix said that more information about the game will come at the end of 2021. The mobile game is titled “Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile”.

As we previously reported, the Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine also mentioned more commemorations. One of them will be a rerun of art exhibition for the franchise in winter 2021, and spring 2022. To top it off, a new manga by the author of “Fullmetal Alchemist”, Hiromu Arakawa, also has been announced. It will premiere “soon” in the Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine.

Edward Elric, a brilliant young alchemist, has lost quite a bit in his twelve years of life: when he and his brother Alphonse tried to revive their mother through the forbidden act of human transmutation, Edward lost his brother as well as two members of her body. However, he managed to save the soul of his brother by embedding her in armor. A year later, Edward has become a state alchemist, and has embarked on a journey in the company of his younger brother to obtain a Philosopher’s Stone that is said to expand an alchemist’s ability and open the possibility of recovering the body of his brother and his lost limbs.
