Genshin Impact announced that voice actress Shino Shimoji will voice the upcoming playable character Chevreuse, the special security and surveillance patrol captain hailing from Fontaine. Erika Lindbeck dubs the character in English. Meanwhile, Genshin Impact also introduced Chiori, who will be voiced by Ayana Taketatsu. Chiori is a fashion designer from Inazuma who is currently running Chioriya Boutique in Fontaine. She is the one who made Kirara, Lyney, Lynette, and Navia’s outfits, as well as the accessories for Charlotte‘s kamera.
Chevreuse will be available to wish for in the 2nd phase of the patch alongside the re-run banners of Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya. Meanwhile, the newest 5-star playable character Navia (voiced by Aki Toyosaki) will have her banner along with Ayaka in the first phase. Genshin Impact version 4.3 is set to release on December 20.
Shino Shimoji is known for her roles as Maha in The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat, Ru Rurushi in Farming Life in Another World, Alexandra Magritte in Tada Never Falls in Love, Akari Ozora in the Aikatsu franchise, and Mako Toma in Selection Project. Some of her recent roles include Narumi Someya in The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses and Teru Momijiyama/Shy in Shy. Aside from anime roles, Shimoji also voices characters from other gacha games such as USS Georgia in Azur Lane, Myrtle in Arknights, and Yuka Nakano in The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls: Starlight Stage.
Ayana Taketatsu is popularly known for her roles as Nino Nakano from Quintessential Quintuplets, Kotori Itsuka from Date A Live, Azusa Nakano from K-On!, Koneko Toujo from High School DxD, Suguha Kirigaya/Leafa from Sword Art Online, Kei Karuizawa from Classroom of the Elite, W from Arknights, and Kirino Kosaka from Oreimo.
