The series follows the story of an all-girl rowing team. The official website describes the story:

While everyone gives their all in the competition, second-year student Eiko Murakami stands alone with a disenchanted expression. “There’s no point in trying hard if you don’t have the talent…” Ever since she realized this, Eiko gives up on every challenge.

One day, a transfer student named Riina Takahashi joins Eiko’s class. Moved by the class match in rowing, Riina pulls Eiko and her childhood friend Hime Saeki into her efforts to revive the nearly disbanded rowing club. When their classmates Miyoko Hyodo and Mayumi Inomoto also join, making the team five members strong, Eiko reluctantly agrees to participate in their first tournament.

On the day of the competition, Eiko and the others are crushed by the gap between their ideals and reality. Just as everyone is about to give up on reaching the goal, Eiko grips the oar once more. With Eiko’s words, “I want to get better,” the hearts of the five become one—!

The dazzling spray of water and their unwavering determination will push you forward.
