It was recently revealed that SYH, an in-story band composed of Hiragi Kashima and Shizumi Yagi, will be making its real-life debut. Fumiya Imai, who voices Hiragi will be the vocalist. To commemorate the movie’s premiere SYH and centimilimental will hold a joint performance on March 1, 2024. Tickets are now on sale.
The Given anime series is based on a manga by Natsuki Kizu. It started serialization in 2013 in Shinshokan’s Cheri+ magazine. SuBLime licensed it in English. In addition to the TV anime and movie, the Given series also has an OVA from 2021, titled Given: on the other hand (also Lerche).
Crunchyroll streamed the anime and described the plot as:
Somehow, the guitar that he used to love to play and the basketball games that he found so fun just lost their appeal… That was until Ritsuka Uenoyama randomly met Mafuyu Sato. Ritsuka had started losing his passion for music in his everyday life, but then he hears Mafuyu sing for the first time. The song resonates with his heart and the distance between them starts to change.
