Hear Masako Nozawa as Showa-Era Gag Manga Roboco in New Me & Roboco Movie Trailer

ME & ROBOCO: The Movie revealed a new trailer for its Showa-era gag manga worldline, featuring a a Roboco voiced by the legendary Masako Nozawa (Goku, Gohan and more in Dragon Ball). The movie was previously confirmed as a multiverse, introducing all the different Robocos. They included:

  • Shun Matsuo as Roboco
  • Mayumi Tanaka as Roboco (Classic Battle Worldline)
  • Shigeru Chiba as Roboco (Genuine Sci-Fi Action Worldline) (NEW)
  • Sumire Uesaka as Roboco (Romantic Comedy Worldline) (NEW)
  • Masako Nozawa as Roboco (Showa-era Gag Manga Worldline) (NEW)

Previously, the sci-fi and romantic comedy versions of Roboco, who are voiced by Shigeru Chiba and Sumire Uesaka respectively, also got their introduction trailers. The movie will premiere on April 18, 2025.

ME & ROBOCO – Showa-era Gag Manga Worldwline

Teasing a classic romantic comedy setting, this worldline’s Roboco is a clumsy maid who seems to lead the Bondo into leading a typical dense MC lifestyle. The trailer features an “adorably clumsy maid Roboco who, for some reason, keeps tripping and absolutely, utterly loves her master.”

About the manga

ME & ROBOCO is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Shuhei Miyazaki. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since July 2020, with VIZ Media publishing it digitally in English. Studio Gallop animated the first anime series, which ran for 28 short (~3 minute each) episodes from December 2022 to June 2023. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.
