VTuber agency Hololive released an original song “Connect The World” ahead of the Hololive English 1st Concert -Connect the World- which will be held at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, California on July 2 this year. You can check out the music video for the song below.
According to the agency, the original song, which will also serve as the concert’s official theme song, celebrates Hololive English’s achievements. It tells the story of overcoming difficulties and connecting with each other and with fans around the world during a time when they could not connect physically.
The hololive English 1st Concert -Connect the World- event will have the whole Hololive English roster performing. The roster consists of Mori Calliope, Takanashi Kiara, Ninomae Ina’nis, Gawr Gura, Watson Amelia, IRyS, Ceres Fauna, Ouro Kronii, Nanashi Mumei, and Hakos Baelz. Several Hololive Japan and Hololive Indonesia talents will also be present in the concert. They include Tokino Sora, Hoshimachi Suisei, Houshou Marine, Ayunda Risu, Moona Hoshinova, and Pavolia Reine.
This upcoming concert is part of Hololive’s ongoing strategy to boost its presence overseas through events and partnerships. More recently, the VTuber agency announced a new lineup for its Hololive Meet 2023 ambassadors namely Sakura Miko, Kureiji Ollie, IRyS, Yukoku Roberu, and Regis Altare. Previous Hololive Meet members include Tokino Sora, Gawr Gura, and Ayunda Risu.
The concert was first announced on March 18 this year and is the first stand-alone event of this kind for the English branch of the company. Tickets are now up for sale and will be available until May 13 (PDT) or until sold out.
