Cover Corp., the parent company of VTuber agency Hololive, introduced a new unit under its Hololive English department called hololive English -Promise-. The unit is composed of Hololive Council’s members Ceres Fauna, Ouro Kronii, Nanashi Mumei, and Hakos Baelz and Project:HOPE’s IRyS.
Through the announcement, Project:HOPE, a VSinger project by Hololive English which is solely composed of IRyS only, will be closed immediately following the new unit launch. According to the agency, the talents will embark “upon a “life-sized adventure” on this world’s stage, seeking answers to their own “promises.”
The agency also noted that while a new VTuber unit has been announced, there will be no significant changes to the type of content they will do. They added that they will continue to create and provide content in their unique styles.
The Hololive Council members debuted in August 2021, with its former member Tsukumo Sana graduating in July 2022. Meanwhile, IRyS debuted in July 2021.
Hololive’s latest announcement comes a month before the agency’s scheduled appearance at the upcoming Anime NYC. The appearance will be headlined by Hoshimachi Suisei with special guest Mori Calliope. Moreover, hololive English -Advent- members Shiori Novella, Nerissa Ravencroft, Koseki Bijou, Fuwawa Abyssgard, and Mococo Abyssgard will also be present.
